Day 12 Dog a Day... Plastic Family

I’ve known for quite some time that the images I post on flickr end up taking a hit in saturation and contrast, I didn’t mind figuring if someone stole the image it would at least be an inferior one. This is the first time I am disappointed. This image is actually very vibrant and it made me laugh how plastic everyone looked. Especially Huxley with that vacant stare on his face.

My wife hates this image but I think she is beautiful, even when she isn’t made to look plastic.

    Tyson,

Hmm, does it look great on your screen, but after you upload to flickr it then looks “plasticy”? Did we talk about sRRGB vs Adobe1998? I think we did. If you’re running adobe98, convert to sRGB before you upload. Also compare it then, any difference?

Yeah I converted everything to sRGB to no avail. I prefer to have my print calibration than worry about my flickr quality at this time. In the future maybe I will have time to figure out what is happening. It seems to only happen right as it is uploaded to flickr. Meh.
