I pretty much did the same thing you did and didn't say a single word for the first 30 minutes or so :) I was working in Lubbock TX when my employer (national company) said that they wouldn't be needing my services at that location, but I was free to interview for any of the other positions in the company for the next 60 days, and could pay my own relocation. So Hello Phoenix! I'm appreciative of this place since it was the reason I was still employed doing what I like doing (fixing computers). Ever since I got twitter on my cell, then found out about tweetscan and #phx, and started hearing about all the great things going on locally, now I want to be way more involved.
