Personal Portrait

A personal portrait session is usually an individual or family that would like to document their moment in time. Often based in tradition personal portraits are there to remind us of our experiences, and to record our bad haircuts and funky holiday sweaters.

Commercial Portrait

A commercial portrait session is a unique image of the client that encapsulates the best qualities of the individual. These sessions are usually based on a concept and are used extensively to promote the personal brand of the client. This is the birth place of the Soft Edit.

Editorial Portrait

An art directed piece usually commissioned by a publication editor.

Events

Oh wow. Events. The dread of most professional photographers. I don’t know if it is the bridezillas, the chaos and multitude of expectations or the long hours but most commercial photographers I know, Don’t. Do. Them.

I Do. Because I like chaos and I enjoy observing and documenting.

Licensing

I own the copyright to all my photos and yes, you can purchase the right to use them for just about any purpose. But please ask first as I’m more likely to send a bill than a cease and desist.
