I think that's a very honest and open response to Gary V.

I've been harassing @GettyImages lately since we have a contract with them at Westwood One and I use them constantly for my stories. I realized I have over 200 personal photos of the February anti-Sheriff Joe protest at Steele Park. I only used ONE to go with the story I filed for work. I thought I'd hit up Getty and ask if I can sell any photos through them. This was their direct response on Twitter:

"Great! Just send us his Flickr URL & we'll send to our editors + info on becoming a contributor: imagery.gettyimages.com»"

Tyson! You have TWO Flickr URLs. Do it!

I have yet to load my protest photos or any others into my Flickr account to try this out. I'm also a complete amateur with no formal photography training, unlike yourself. My stuff is probably mediocre, but your stuff is awesome!

My dad is a hobby digital photog, but I'm going to let him know too. He's been really stingy with his photos so far. (He won't even give me photos to frame and hang in my home and copyrights the heck out of 'em with Adobe Light Room).

Let me know what you think of the Getty idea and if you try it.
